How to tell parents about bad grades?

Just tell them! Your parents should not care if you get those kinds of grades and remember to tell them that you tried your hardest and it was a new program/school. If you tell your parents that you tried your hardest, they might be mad for a while but then they will get over it. Also, promise them from the bottom of you heart that you will do better next year. To answer the last question (the ps question), yes and no. Yes, because if you tell them that you think a tutor will help you, that will show them that you know that you made the mistake but you want to fix it and do better.
